Best Slayer masters to use & Black mask

I'm currently 70cb with D scim, zerker helm, rune armor, obby cape, climbing boots, str ammy, cand combat brace. Getting my fighter torso, rune defener, and cannon by this weekend hopefully. No idea when I'll get the firecape. Probably when range is high enough from the cannon because I'm not skilled enough to melee it. And Barrows gloves...not for a while.

Anyways. Which Slayer master is best at my level? Currently using Chaeldar, but she's been giving shit tasks like pyrefiends, wall beasts, and cave slimes. Should I switch to Vannaka? At what combat level should I switch to Duradal?

Also, anybody know when people are going to start selling black masks or how much they are going to cost? I haven't seen any traded through the Zybez price database or RS '07 trading forums, but someone already has 80 Slayer while Black mask only requires 58 slayer + cabin fever. You would think that people would be camping for Black masks to sell them.

 

Duradel isn't even available till 100 combat so don't worry about him for a long time.
I'd use Vannaka if I were you until 90 combat or even 100. Then start using Chaeldar. I wouldn't start using Duradel till you have 85+ range, 90+ str. If you stay 45 defense and 60 attack. If not it would be wise to get 60-70 defense and 80 attack to use Chaeldar efficiently.

Black masks aren't going to be a big deal for a couple months.

As soon as you are lvl 70 go to chaeldar.
Do fairy tales part 1 to start using fairy rings.
Get at least 31 magic.
Prayer flick on tasks needed, like infernal mages, mountain trolls.
Only use cannon if you can at least afford enough cannonballs to make it worth it. Balls are 120-150 each.
Rune def is worth it.
There is no Barbarian assault.
Just do melee.
Don't bother getting much defence, you will only need it for non flicking tasks in order to afk, so you should be getting defence when training it wouldn't affect your melee stats much anyways.
You won't hit much from cannon at level 5 anyways, it is the fastest way of training to decent levels though.

They didn't release Barbarian Assault yet, the backup version had some glitched interfaces with some quests and this precise minigame had smuggling issues, they will fix it and release it in a few weeks.
