Best recording program?

Ok I got a few questions..

1.) Best free screen recording program.
2.) Best paid screen recording program.
3.) Where can I get good effects for, making my runescape videos look good, or does that come with the recording program?

Personally, I like hypercam. It's free and works great.

 

I agree with the other guy that said Camtasia studio, it's free aswell

I don't use any paid ones, frankly they're not worth it.

If you're going to pay for something, buy a high quality editor or just use Windows Movie Maker. I've made a RS video with 150k+ views with that.

 

I've never tried camtasia, the only thing I don't like about hypercam is the "Unregistered Cam" tag it puts on your video if you're using the free service... does camtasia do that too?

 

Download hypercam 2 and crack sony vegas!

 

Hypercam 2 has bad qaulity..
Fraps is a good program but really hard to get used to the settings.
