Why is music these days bullshit?

There is no real meaning in music these days. They dont care about the real meaning of the music, they only care about MONEY. I for one am a 15 year old, going to be 16 by end of this year. My siblings listen to this bullshit, while i listen to I'm blue, Welcome to the jungle, Silicon World, Sweet Dreams, ect. In my opoin, damn lt'wan, and drake, miley, DAMN THEM ALL!

Do you really think it's only this generation? Sure there were people that cared about music in every generation but most bands where in it for the money,women, and fame. Oh and don't forget the drugs.

I don't really listen to Western songs as much as I used to. I listen to a band called LMF(LazyMuthaFuckas) from Hong Kong, they have a lot of swearing/profanity in their songs, but it has a lot of meaning behind all the swearing. But I really don't like the songs that all have swearing, but don't have a meaning behind it.

I will agree that good talented music isn't appreciated as much as it was 30 years ago. Now any ignorant person who can speak fast poetry about money, cars, clothes, and women to a beat can become a millionaire.

 

Bon Iver, Amy Seeley, William Fitzsimmons, John Butler - I'd name more, but those are my favorite artists at the moment.

 

Good god. I bet 40 years ago, people were saying how all modern music sucks, I bet 30 years people were complaining about how modern music sucks, I bet 20 years ago people were complaining, and people still are.

Music nowadays is fine, just because people have other ways of producing it now, doesn't mean it sucks. All music can be good if you give it a chance.
