According to RS Wiki - using void, range potions, etc between levels 85 and 99 at ape atoll you gain an average of 397k per hour... never dropping below 300k per hour and the highest is the mid 400k's.

Uh...Can somebody break this down and give me some math? All of my friends have 99 ranged but I remember chinning being slower - more like the last levels were in the mid 300's at BEST, not 400k+, that is nuts. 99 could be achieved in a week.

I mean, RS Wiki is usually an accurate source for anything RS related but when I saw this I shit bricks.

Thoughts? Numbers? Personal experience? I'm also curious about the cost here. Making 300 overload's just for this costs a lot of money and I am unsure if RS Wiki was edited by somebody going for 200M ranged or something crazy. I know Ranged has always been fast since the release of hunter but this makes it one of the fastest 99's.

    Thanks!

I dont think during 85-89 u will get "397k exp a hour" maybe from 90-99 in ape toll using max range gear and using summoning it will be 350k exp+ an hour

That seems more likely. I am very curious about the average xp per hour between 85-99 and if the typical "30m" range of money spent turns into something like 45-60m.

It probably means if you're using extremes. Because I can easily see 400k p/h with full void, range leech, and maxed range gear.

How much would that bump up the price of 85-99 though? I have yet to find a REALLY detailed guide to this.

Well, you said it was one of the fastest 99's... Everyone I see has like 99 range.. That would make sense..

Oh god. I don't even want to think about how much that would bump it up. I'd say to only use extremes if you have a lot of them. Leech if you have high prayer. If you're rich, and want it the fastest way possible, do it that way regardless of the money situation. If not, simply use ranging pots and leech because pray pots are cheap atm.

Thanks for the responses so far. I really want to see some numbers though.
