Will gambling ingame ever return? Jagex removing it from the game doesn't stop gamblers as there are online alternatives like runechat. So why don't they just bring it back, it would increase the amount of profit they make a lot.

 

It will never return in game. However there are IRC which accept RSGP payments and BTC.

 

You can stake at the duel arena man.

 

Staking is the best gambling out there. I honestly don't understand why people do the good old '60x2' or flower poker..

I'd rather lose my money fighting it off lol.

But back to the OP's question; no JaGeX will never bring dicing/gambling back in-game. But if you want to gamble use IRC's, or just stake mate.

Doubt it will ever return as they know it just encourages people to go sell it for irl gain when they make a certain amount (which i dont blame them) making money back then was insanely easy through gambling they most likely dont want people to be able to afford end game items in a sitting of gambling lol. Tbh jagex has already brought back gamblin imo with squeal/treasure hunter but with horrible odds for us where they make profit lol. Glad they leave staking alone, close enough to the old gambling and same rush when betting alot of money

 

It's true, staking is essentially Jagex-run gambling. In fact, having a maxed melee account for o-boxing gives you a 50% chance at success, if not more. These are better odds than countless other methods of gambling. There are also o-boxers who do NOT have maxed out melee stats and are simply there for giggles. Judging from this, your odds are pretty darn good!

 

yeah man if you like to gamble that much, why not try your luck at the duel arena, it's hella fun and sometime intense,

as far as your question goes i think jagex worked hard to get gambling out of rs as it saturated the genuine experience of runescape

 

100% it will never return. Sorry they banged hard on bots and rwt/gambling!

 

Jagex has no reason to allow it. They didn't have a problem with it until certain groups heavily abused their game in their business.

 

I don't think gambling should be done in any other way besides staking

 

Well, the guy who closed in the first place Mark Gerhard (current CEO) is leaving this month, so who knows.
