Setup for waterfiends

I'll be botting waterfiends for charms I was wondering what would be best setup to maximize trips. I heard range is decent and obviously crush. So here are my stats.

Ring
Gloves

Both range and melee. I have enough charms to get to 68 for bunyip should I do that first?

 

Neitz helm, karils top and bottom, fire cape, zammy spear, no shield, berserker ring/ring of life, barrows gloves. That should be the best set-up

Yes you should get a bunyip, waterfiends drop lots of raw fish so the scrolls will help lots. For the gear chaotic maul and elite void is the best there is. Fury and either a sw cape or fire cape are best too. A rol is highly recommend but u can use a berserker ring, row, onyx ring or whatever. Just normal void is good too, and obviously d boots


Edit: just saw u can't use a maul. Zammy spear or Sara sword will work fine. If u can't use void for some reason then just use black d'hide.

 

get a bunyip, will lengthen trips.

 

I lost my void. :/ I still have top but I suppose I can get it back or even attempt for elite void.

 

unlucky, void is perfect for waterfiends. Black d'hide will do just fine if u cbf getting back void

 

Pretty much that, but a Chaotic Maul is better than a zs if you have one. A SGS also works very well there. And I wouldn't suggest using a Fire Cape while botting unless you have no problem with the possibility of losing it.
