    US to patrol Korean waters

China's officials shouldn't be very worried, but the North Koreans should. Knowing their behaviour, they are likely to send a "warning" to the US which threatens war. Who knows what will happen? The Korean war is still ongoing...

    Should change the title to

"US to push chances of war Against Korea".

seriously, why should america get involved? That's what the UN is for.

    oh wait, The Truman Doctrine..

What do you mean brewing? South Korea and North Korea are still at war. We support South Korea so America sends them assets to patrol. Easy as that.

Why do you think the DMZ (De-militarized Zone) is so heated and full of soldiers. All there is right now is a cease-fire that both sides agreed on temporarily. The Korean War never ended. There was no treaty, which is how you end wars.

There isn't "a war brewing". The United States would not invade North Korea or especially China in the current economic climate.

Completely agree. Although I also feel that USA is, once again, sticking their nose where it doesn't belong.

this war is going to happen sooner or later... there is a shift of power towards china and war would be the easiest, and cheapest, therefore most effective, way of pulling it back.

mind you america would be internally bombed with unemployment, because if china stops trade with US, we'll be mega welfare fucked.

Are you kidding? War is great for the economy, and us going to war would certainly help our situation.

North Korea needs their ass kicked, they need to be brought down a peg, and I say that if the U.S. has to do that, I'll support it. We don't need to keep our nose out of a situation that effects us. If North Korea had the chance, they'd attack us, and I'd rather prevent such a scenario than allow it to happen.

North Korea can attack us dumbo lol. They have 50,000 cannons facing toward the DMZ and South Korea set up from the Korean War. Within 10 minutes they can level the South Korean capital of Seoul if they wanted to and kill many, if not all of the U.S. troops in the DMZ with their cannons and sweep through with their 15,000,000 strong soldiers. They also have been testing nuclear missiles and they have the ability to reach the states with what they currently have.

War with North Korea will bring China against us, which will kill our relations with them. We need China to survive and they need us to survive. It would mess up the economy tremendously, probably bring us into a depression. Not to mention devious Russia could back up North Korea due to their shady relationships between each other. Which would bring us an even bigger problem providing they have more nukes than America.

Don't get me wrong, if our Commander-in-Chief says war with North Korea, all I can do is support his decision as a soldier of this great nation.

I'm far from the arrogant American, but North Korea attacking us would be suicide on their part. I mean, sure, I don't know the full extent of our resources, but I know it's vast as fuck.

If the U.S. decided to destroy North Korea, I don't think China would step in. The relations between them is greater than their relations with us, but China knows what we're willing to do, and if we have to punish little brother, I don't think many other countries would disagree with our actions.

Russia... they're all assholes... but they're too busy having fun right now to really care about supporting other countries.
