End of season 2!

Season 2 has just come to an end so I just wanted to know how you all did in competitive mode; what was your season high and which golden weapon did you guys get?

What do you guys plan on playing for season 3 and how do you guys think the ranked system will change in season 3?

I finished with a season high of 3669 and got the golden widowmaker gun

 

I personally didn't play much so I ended with a season high of 2912 and didn't get a gold. I really wish they would change the distribution of players in each tear. Earning platinum doesn't feel like much of an accomplishment, it feels more of a 'you don't suck but you kinda suck' rank. I wish they would do what League does where the majority of the player base is in the lower ranked. It makes ranking up feel SOOO much better.

 

I get what you mean, the placement system didn't place players in their appropriate skill level either, there were far too many players in higher diamond - lower master who shouldn't have been there. On the contrary, there were far too many skilled players who were stuck in lower tiers because their team mates just dragged them to a loss with them. I hope the placement games are fixed for next season.

 

Yeah they give you points based on your rank. Kinda lame, IMO there should be more rewards.

I myself ended in top 500 which was nice. I just wanted that 500 icon so i dont think ill try as hard next season.
