PayPal Sucks

Well, I was selling rares and made --> * PayPal balance: $1,082.75 USD

Before I sold my first half wine, I had a -$50.32 in my PayPal, the first buyer sent the Payment but forgot to send as gift, because with large amounts of money like this I prefer it being gifted, He didn't so I tried to refund the Payment, and I did not know it would try to withdraw funds from my bank, because PayPal always comes first when you owe them. I go to sleep and wake up to check they "Closed" my account, I am limited and unable to withdraw the money for ~180 days, which pisses me off because now I got to use W.U for my deals.

I just got off the phone with them and told 'em their website is pathetic, she didn't say much so I told her to fuck off, and hung up.

Anyone have PayPal issues like this?

 

Why not do what they wanted?

Isn't it just verify your address, phone number and such?

I've had a similar issue with PayPal. I used to enjoy selling Runescape account upgrades, however since my PayPal was limited, I've been unable to go back into the markets. 3 more years, then I'll be 18 and PayPal will be much simpler.

 

I never use paypal as an option of receiving money.

 

Nope, no steps. I called them and they said my account is closed, but not fully. I will recieve a check in 6 Months, with my remaining balance. FML

 

The balance will be reversed..Trust me..Suspicious funds and they will request proof of shipping.

yep...they limited my account with 825$ on it with no chance of getting the money back.

 

This is why I don't use Paypal.. It must be a good business for them to randomly shut down accounts for whatever reasons they like, and there's usually not much you can do about it.

 

Yeah they tried the same thing on me but I called up my bank to stop the withdrawal and they decided to suspend my account on allegations that it's been "stolen". Biggest piss take but they eventually sent me the balance to my Card though within a week.

 

Keep calling them and they'll eventually unlimit it.

I'm a top customer and business verified, so I get priority CS/automatically am directed to the shift supervisor. I've been able to hold onto my payments.

 

I never had this problem.
