Any Tips for VOID Cannon rushing?

UPDATE: I am now 98 range and i have avas and 94 combat, everything else is the same
Hi, I have made this account from scratch as a Range-Tank pker. Recently i have gotten the hand cannon and i was trying to hand cannon rush, I have goten some ko's, one of them i specced a 430-440 and he dropped instanly, but he want skulled, Im just asking for some tips. 90% of the time i get one BIG hit 400+ and a 100-200 with the second, failing. Any tips would help. Should i get righer range without raising hp? idk what i shuold do to be more successful? Tips for improving loots aswell from this would help aswell thank you. My combat level is 92.

well get 99 range, it will make a big difference trust me, and you might try an archers ring if you can afford it

 

i really didnt think 99 range was much different from 95 lol but im workin on it

 

go for tribrids in ahrims. dont bother with bandos rushers, their armor will just eat your hits.

 

rigour - the key to hand cannon rushing. Getting rigour will get you, id say, 10 more kills per hour. I wouldnt bother hand cannon rushing without rigour..

If you dont want to range and gain hp xp do it at range guild there is alot of botters there now and its not that fast but you dont gain hp levels or cb good luck!

 

DEFINITELY get rigour. It's the difference between them running on 10hp, and being K0'd. and if you've been at the rushing a while, you know this happens quite a lot.

 

First tip, get a rank of 300 in mobilizing armies and imbue an archers ring. This gives a +8 ranged bonus which will come in quite handy. Second tip, go dungeoneering and get the rigour prayer. Also, if your wondering about a way to get 99 range without raising hp go to soulwars and just heal your teammates the whole game long.

Buy morrigan's javelins. After hitting once with a handcannon spec, switch to javelin and spec with that, then switch back to handcannon. this works great, and really downs fast even if they survive the spec.

2. get dung level for rigour
3. get 74 prayer
4. get ranger boots
5. get avas
6. get MA rank of 300
7. buy and enchant archers ring(i)

 

Try something other than rushing if your not getting a lot of kills. Rushing always seemed kind of pointless to me because of the amount of time it takes to re-gain special after you rush.

 

the trick is to go to duel arena and duel some1, then forfeit and tele back to edge

 

as mentioned alot by other ppl above rigour does help considerably i have a similar acc to ures and rigour is ftw, but i also worked hard at livid farm gettin diruption shield which is great when using void as u can rest assured ure nerly unrushable ureself

99 range
94+ mage (barrage)
Maxed range accuracy
Rigour prayer.

putting max hit for hand cannon over 500
Starting off with a possible 300 hit.

Some people say once you do the barrage it to easy to defend.
But i find that for that extra second to freeze and extra damage, (them to eat(hopfully not tele)
Is way more efficient in the end, = Alot more KOs even tho a few more people might get away slighly easyer.

 

ice blitz would be better because its delayed, making the hits stack

 

This, I've heard Rigour works a charm :laugh:

 

Barrage and Ice blitz only work with d bow. Hand cannon is to delayed to do effectively.
