Main account hacked, can't get it back.

In this situation what would you do?

I really want to buy a main but I'm really scared of it just ending up getting recovered.

Also, I sent in an email to jagex trying to get some help recovering it. It has been 3 weeks with no response.

 

What e-mail did you sent your e-mails when you tried to reach jagex?

 

Recovery@jagex. I used the parents one before and they told me they could not help me recover it via email and I would have to do it by the recovery form. Which I tried 20+ times and failed for the only reason of not having the same recovery IP.

 

Did you tried to put your old recovery IP to the appeal?

When you recover your account, put at least these in there:
- Old recovery answers & current ones (if set)
- Current E-Mail & Old e-mails
- Loads of old passwords (almost all that you can remember)
- Old upgrade infos
- Creation IP (if you still have the same IP when you created it, you can see your ip easy at here: www.whatismyip.com )
- Old tracking ID's that are accepted (helped me sometimes)

 

Yeah I put in all that, I don't have the creation IP though. When It gets denied it gets denied for no reason.

 

When u buy an account, always buy from a trusted person. I don't think it's possible for u to recover it. Sorry for ur loss :/

 

Yeah, I'm in a trade with a guy who I believe is trusted. I just don't like the idea of handing over something recoverable for something that is not.

Trying to decide if I should go through with the trade right now.

 

Try again in a week or something, might help if you've sent alot of appeals from same IP, and you might use proxy to try recover it again after the week is passed

 

This has been tried, I've had one successful recovery on this account about 8 months ago. Now jagex just seems to be refusing my recovs.

 

Hmm.. so.. you have tried proxys? You have no a clue wich country it was created from? you should use that countrys proxy.

 

I've tried proxies. I live in the US and the acc came from the US.

 

Try to contact the person that you bought the account from?

 

This was years ago, their phone number has changed and they are no longer on msn/aim.

Might I suggest that you should be consistant, it took me nearly a year of random recovery attempts until Jagex saw the vacancy of the account and the frequency of my attempts. My account was hijacked too, before I forget to say that. The bottom line is they're people to with a sense of compassion, so long as we make it as apparent as can be.
