Best Band Imaginable?

I'm not sure if one of these exists, if so sorry & please remove (My search didn't seem to find one of a similar name)

Post the best, or your favorite, formation you could ever imagine.

-Can include any known musician, past or present.
-Please keep within the Rock/Metal/Alternative genres.
-Would also appreciate if you could comment on the previous poster's answer.
-Would be helpful to include the band they were/are from too.

Respect, but I would change it to:

I think they would play very bluesy arena rock with suicidal undertones.

Drums: Keith Moon
Lead Guitar: Jimi Page/Robert Johnson
Rhythm Guitar: Eric Clapton/Jack White
Bass Guitar: Roger Waters
Other Percussion: n/a

The artists after the slashes are alternates, I didn't want a lead guitar player and 3 rhythm players. haha.

Looking good guys, bumpin this up.

Lead Guitar: Mike Oldfield
Rhythm Guitar: Jari Maenpaa

I think that line up would be HIGHLY interesting to listen to. Some of them, with the exception of Jarre and Oldfield are fillers. I chose Numan for his unique, controversial voice.

Lead Guitar: Jimi Hendrix (The Jimi Hendrix Experience)
Rhythm Guitar: James Hetfield (Metallica)
Bass Guitar: John Entwistle (The Who)

Depends really on what genre of music. For example, rock could be Three Days Grace, and reggae could be Sizzla. I love all music personally and think most bands are equal in terms of how great they are.

Says on the OP what genres. Please post the format provided or one similar if you're going to post.
