Whats the best antivirus, firewall, or security suite i should buy for my PC? Money isn't a problem, so just post any paid programs that you think are the best.

Norton is good, so is Mcafee.

I always hated Norton, but Norton 2009 fucking rapes. And if you have a shitty computer, get The Antivirus gaming edition, I have it it detected shit kaspersky and nod32 didnt and its less of a hog. (Which is a major step for norton).

i've never liked the norton or mcafee that has come pre-loaded on windows computers i've bought in the past, i'd say if you don't want to pay anything, avg free would be your best bet, though it isn't the best but it is free and better than no antivirus at all

Bitdefender was ranked #1 for 2009.

Its almost impossible to hack (But I've done it).. And umm, if its windows vista, Get read to go through hell if hacking it.

GAMING MODE is included, so you choose to turn it on or off.

I heard Norton was going out of business at one point, apparently they turned good...

My mum's comp has Norton, it's easy to use, and works well. She does some pcanywhere program bullshit, and connects to her work computer from my house, and she and her work'd get fucked over if they get a virus/someone hacks them (shitload of personal + bank info and that), and apparently Norton was best to get the job done to keep unwanted shit out.

I use ZoneAlarm, some people don't like it, some do, I love it. It works well for me, anyway.

Norton hogs to much ram. I use avast! 4.8. Cracked with key that lasts 2000 and some days.
