Beginners help please :)

Hey guys.

I've decided to leave the black market side of sythe due to just being scammed over and over and give graphics/sig making a go so i was wondering where should i start? should i download the photoshop trial to start? and does anyone have some links to making basic sigs and orbs etc?

hmm for a little help.

id suggest you start the tutorial for 30 days. after you get a feel for sig making, you can either buy CS3 or use a good program to make sigs.

the gimp is reall good, I use it all the time. so yeah just a suggestion.

 

What you want to do is, yes, get the trial, use up the trial time working on tutorials (go to tutorialized.com for the best source of tutorials). once you're good or if your time ran out, upgrade to the full version in any way you can, start with giving free or cheap signatures (better yet, start with avatars) then once you get a sufficient amount of popularity in the GFX forums, start increasing the prices. But make sure your work is getting better too. Also, even in about a year when you're all too familiar with photoshop, I'd still go back to online tutorials to learn new tricks. Even the programmer of photoshop probably didn't know some creative ways people worked in photoshop so you're pretty much never too advanced to get help and tips or whatever!
One more thing, some peoples computers, like mine, can the see transparent backgrounds (it's white instead of the forum color) so copy the color of the forum skin and make that your background

Yea photoshop is in my personal opinion the best GFX program on the market
