This guy has no idea what Luring is

Call me a noob if you like, I've played RS for about 5 years and still got no clue what Luring is or how it works Lol.

Someone care to give me a brief summary?

 

tricking someone into dropping a expensive item or fooling them into going into the wildy more or less

 

Lol people still actually fall for this? -.- what a sad world

 

sadly yes a lot of thought is put behind some of them, theres plenty of videos of people losing phats etc.

Yeah, no matter how hard the lurer tries to lure you. You still have to be stupid to fall for it.

 

That's why you anti-lure with the kid your luring and tag team

 

Yeah after reading that free guide that was linked above, it seems like anti-luring would be the best way. Glad I read it, I still probably wouldnt have fell for it, but now I will know if someone is attempting to do it to me, and I could get off with a free item haha

There are many lures, but I see it as trickery. Foul play. It's cheap, but can make you bank.

 

I've been lured and scammed a few times all in my early RS years, where I was naive in terms of the game (03/04/05) but now if anyone begins talking to me that I don't know I am immediately suspect, no matter what. People often try to befriend you as if they are actually trying to help.
