Botting if the 2007 servers come out.

Although I don't play RuneScape I was thinking if they do release them how many people will start botting on them and will it be more profitable to bot on the 2007 servers or the EOC ones.

 

I will be, for a while I think it will be more profitable for atleast a couple months on the 07 servers.

In all honesty it depends on the number of people that stick with it. If it is released and it is free for the first weeks it will be pretty popular. If you are talking about goldfarming and botting, it probably would be more profitable is a large number of people play it, people will be wanting to get max skills first thus more people buy GP and with a low supply prices rise. However if you mean general botting, I would have thought quite a few would bot.

 

it will probably be released, but i hope it won't become puch of a problem, i liked the way the rs community was back then, i dont want it be become like rs is right now.

 

There will be mainly private bots, as the people with brains will get rich before they release them, as if they control the market they might as well use it. The only disadvantage is that all the accounts have to be members, and the EoC account would get banned if the 07 one did and visa-versa, so people may be more careful. With the members requirement to get gold, I reckon that there will be a rise in the gold for the 07 servers to what it used to be ages ago.

 

Think I'll definatley start botting for a month or two.

 

It'll be alot easier to bot on the 07' servers tbh. Especially if they don't allocate a large enough development team.

 

@ People asking why 07. They said their last recovery was 07 or something. That's when they changed their backup system.

 

Dumb question, but would injection bots still function, or did they change something internally since '07?
I wouldn't mind using SCAR but I'd really prefer rsbot just for the simplicity.

I imagine they'll implant the cluster-futter (I believe that's right) from a while back. On top of that also the 6-hour client & hook updates and, if it's truly a replica of 2007, random events.

 

I was under the impression that cluster-flutter was a failure? I thought it worked for a while, but was quickly broken/bypassed. Could be wrong though.

 

Because they noticed how a particular server, "06Scape" gained so much support. Server was set in the year of 06, but got shut down before it officially was able to launch Alpha.

Plus, that's their last full save/backup of the RS servers before they switched to their new database.

Which means, no AGS, no claws, no bandos, arma, GWD, etc.

Purely whip, dds, etc. Maybe d bow? Can't remember the date for that.

Going to be a range/2h f2p and whip dds world for p2p.

 

considering combat is by far the most profitable of all things you can bot on rs I will say yes it definitely will be as most of the scripters haven't incorporated the new abillities into their scripts yet.

Will powerbot work on 07 or what? didn't get it xd
