Becoming a Mod

I am curious to see what it takes to become a Mod?
Is it something people vote on after you submit an app to become one, or are you just selected?

What do the responsibilites consist of?

Also, I am not asking because I am interested, I dont think I would have the time to execute the position properly, but I am just curious as to what people look for when selecting a mod. ​

In my opinion, I think it takes someone who has been around for a while and is constantly active in helping and just talking to people on here. On top of that they have to be mature and trustworthy. I believe becoming a mod is something that you don't try and get, you just do the best you can to be supportive and helpful around the Sythe community and maybe the "Mod" title will come looking for you.
