Anyone use Nitro RC Cars/trucks?

I used to have a truck
Nitro MT HPI
Or something along those lines.
Expensive as hell.

I paid 200 for the truck, off a buddy. He paid 300 for it brand new a few months before.

The batteries on the remote controller died on me.
The rc truck gunned it, a truck then ran it over.

I had to spent 150$ in repairs.



I sold it for 80$ a month later.


I am going to get back into them, but I am getting an electric one. As the gas ones had a tendency to "gun" it if the batteries in the controller die.

Any suggestions on electric trucks?

EDIT: I don't care for the "looks" of it much.
It's just cheap, it's electric, and my younger brother has a similar one that I played with when I was visiting family.
