    Explanation of the trade:
I am selling two different accounts. One, a scythe account, for 150M rs3. Second, an account with 15(now 19m)m thieving experience, for 15M rs3.
The user PM'd me saying he wanted to buy my scythe account, asking if I accept paypal (obviously I dont from new users, so I said to buy rsgp and ill pick it up in game.) He complied. Meanwhile, he wanted to buy an admin+ rank in a clan, with avatars, so that was also added to the trade. For a total cost of 166m RS3 GP. Now, when I received the cash in game, I received the amount of 56m. Not what I was expecting. I replied, and he said he wanted to not buy the scythe account, but he wanted to buy the 99 thieving account. Okay I thought. So I made the account an admin+ rank, and exchanged email/acc details, and all was fine.
Nope. He filed a scam report, and was upset there was not a scythe account. ???

    How they scammed:
At first I thought, he's either an absolute moron, and wanted the scythe, but mixed up my signature with my thread, and thought the scythe was on the 99 thieving account? But he then refused to buy my scythe account, and wanted a refund......No problem, I'm not a scammer, you can have a refund.
Fast forward a day, I refund him in whole. He didn't even want the admin rank, he wanted full 56m back? Meaning, he claims to accidentally buy the account, but now he ALSO wants a refund for the admin rank?...Sketchy
To buy the wrong account, you have to be INCREDIBLY stupid. So I thought, maybe I uploaded a picture of the scythe account, on the thread? And I checked the imgur upload I had, and I was wrong. All pictures of the 99 thieving account, were form the 99 thieving account. He claims to just have mixed it up.
But then why refuse to buy the account he intended on buying, and why refund for the admin rank?

And as it stands now, after I refunded him, he has YET to send me the password of the account I refunded him for.

    1. He tries to scam with paypal, and I perhaps put him in a scenario where he could not chargeback the rs3 gold, and instead of saying 'no' and looking like a scammer, he just went along with it. And later, claim he wanted something else, so I would refund him.
    2. He found another account, which he also then purchased. And instead of just buying more gold, he called me a scammer for a refund, to buy this other account.
    3. He's too moronic to understand account trades, resulting in a terrible experience for sellers overall.

Although the only thing I lost, was that now Jagex probably views my account as suspicious, due to the great distance in IP's, and could potentially be locked. The fact remains, that this user is negatively-impacting sellers, and I would like to request a TWC, or an infraction, or something. I wasted countless hours during finals week to help this guy out, and I've never been so disappointed.

Here is him, not calling the other account he bought a 'scammer' for simply having the account locked? A simple google search will show that jagex locks accounts due to change in locations, everyone knows that.

Here is the scam report he made of me.

I also then quickly pm'd video to ask how to reply to scam reports, as I am not looking to scam, just make some money. He then responded to thread, thank you video.

    EDIT:

I refunded an account named 'leo darken' (see pm's)
    http://www.runeclan.com/user/leo+darken That is the account
http://www.runeclan.com/clan/corrupted_serenity This is the clan he is a member of, as shown in http://s8.postimg.org/sdgkcrh11/image.jpg This image, posted by the seller here http://www.sythe.org/main-accounts-level-100/1911168-cold-one-s-account-shop.html

He claims the account is 'locked' and is Cold One's fault, as shown here http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer/1912152-cold-one.html#post15378639

Yet, not even a couple hours later, and he is able to accept a full refund from me, onto that account.

Here is the account on HS: http://services.runescape.com/m=hiscore/a=62/compare?user1=leo_darken

Matches the skills in the screenshot posted in Cold One's thread:

    EDIT2:
PM I just received, of him refusing to give me the password to the account.....

I've filed a recovery of the account, they wouldn't take my email, so I submitted a manual recovery. Hopefully it goes through.

Also posted a SECOND scam report, even after I fully refunded him.
Claiming that jagex will reset passwords through email, and although true, when I clicked on 'forgotten password' it wouldn't even let me enter my email.

You're an idiot if you think I'm going to change the password for you when I've already sent an email change request to the email specified.

You must not know how runescape at all works. Or how password resets work in general.

I did. And ~1 hour later, went to reset 'forgotten' password, but it wouldn't accept my email. I had to fill out all the info.

    I sent Demacia a pm.

    He said:

I've tried the old password I had on it. It doesn't work. And he confirmed the email change. Theres nothing I can really do except tell him to do the Forgotten Password link.

I guess you just gotta try and recover the account from this point.

What is the old password he used then?
It'll help with recovery, with the password I used, and the one he used.
