Favorite Type of Music

Well, there are tons of different music types and genres obviously, but I am just going to talk about the "basics".

Modern Rock
Rap/Hip-Hop
Classic Rock
Old School Hip-Hop​

Now, when I say "Modern Rock", I am talking about bands such as Death Cab for Cutie, Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold, etc. [Sorry, don't listen to "Modern Rock" that much, so don't know really any of the popular bands right now.

When I say "Rap and Hip-Hop", I am speaking about modern day hip-hop artists, such as Lil Wayne, T.I., Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Birdman, Akon, Drake, Jeremih, etc. [I could sit here all day listing off artists, but you get the idea.]

"Classic Rock" entitles vasts amounts of artists, from Pink Floyd, to Led Zeppelin, from Iron Maiden, to Metallica. There are tons of bands that we all know and love from the '70s and '80s. [Hell, maybe you even like back in the '60s back when it was Mick Jagger and the gang in the Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney and his crew from the Beatles.]

Now, into my favorite section of them all, the old School Hip-Hop and Rap artists... These would include Tupac Shakur (Makaveli/2Pac), Notorious B.I.G.(Biggie Smallz), and hell, even Run DMC.

So basically, the whole point of this annoyingly long thread, is asking what your favorite type of music is... So yeah, please take the poll, and don't do more than once, I want to see an accurate number.​

I'm mostly into punk and ska, I like a bit of modern rock, 80's metal, and a little bit of old skool rap

 

Alternative mostly. I do like GOOD rap/hip-hop.

 

Black metal/ anything that sounds good

I like the hiphop/rap that in 2007/2008. 2009 songs are just crap imo
