    Rant about PlayerAuctions.

First of all, I'm not sure this is the right place, but if any Mod wants to moveit/delete it/Lock it, i dont really care. - In hindsight, i'm guessing it should be in the Off Topic forum.

Now, i agree that PlayerAuctions is probably one of the most secure methods of buying/selling rs products. Although it is supposed to be one of the easiest and most straightforward methods of buying rs gold, i do have one problem with it and i was wondering if anyone else has had it.

Earlier, i've ordered 400m through PlayerAuctions and Paypal from a well known seller on sythe, i do not have a problem with this seller, he/she was very helpful in sorting this, but my problem lies with the procedure of buying off this site.

I understand that certain precautions need to be taken when trading online, but not once before the cash for this gp came out of my account, did PlayerAuctions stop me and warn me that photographic ID will need to be provided to validate this payment. Due to personal reasons, i have no passport and no Driving licence, and since this is 2011, most bills are paid online, therefore the majority of people wouldn't have any sort of billing statement.

I'm sure many other members of Sythe have no suitable ID for PlayerAuctions, so surely it wouldnt be too hard for them to include a message asking for photographic ID before the site redirects you to paypal or whatever other service your ordering through.

Due to this, i won't recieve a refund from PlayerAuctions until 11.30 PST. Which is a full 12 hours after i have sent in an order for this gp. I understand that 12 hours isnt the longest to wait, although it could have been easily prevented by a simple message from PlayerAuctions stating that they will need photographic ID to validate the payment.

I'm aware that probably deep in the small print, PlayerAuctions states that they may need ID for larger orders, although, who reads the small print really?

I know that this is no sinister ploy on PlayerAuctions part to steal cash off people, but it would probably help everyone involved if they were to include a short simple message.

Long story short.... Why cant PlayerAuctions ask for ID BEFORE taking the cash out of someones account?

Anyways, if you've read all that long waffling bullshit, thanks. Since i'm waiting on my refund, i have sweet FA else to do tonight. Haha.

Let the flaming and the "OMFG you so stupids! You've only been here a few weeks!" begin.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Sythe specific feedback. Feel free to send an email to PA if you dislike their policy though :p
