[WIP]Java Tower Defence

Hey guys, I'm going to be starting a Tower Defence game in java. For the begining im only going to use basic shapes for everything. Later I will add pictures possibly.

I'm going to use Eclipse, and all the basic libraries that come with java.

Post some code if not all? Or maybe some pictures? How is anyone supposed to discuss or judge this if you have nothing at all??

 

Its a work in progress...I'm just starting it so there isn't really anything to be posted yet. I will have a bit tomorrow though.

Nope, I've been working on a couple assignments for school that have been due for my programming class so I havn't had much progress but I am going to be resuming it soon.

Wow, this is great! I'll enjoy seeing how this progresses. I love TD and java..... just the thought of them together makes me jizz a little

(BTW for anyone who loves TD check out Sanctum... just came out and is an FPS TD)

 

Fishingterrorist, yes you could make this in VB; it would actually be more intuitive for a beginner, although java would be the better option in terms of development.

Don't call VB crud, if you don't know how to program in a language and you don't know the specific strengths of the language then you shouldn't be commenting on its worthiness.

The fact that you're using an applet (this technology is soon going to be depreciated) amongst other bad coding techniques is evidence that if VB was indeed crud, you should probably be programming in it.

Don't comment blindly.
