    Baseball vs. Soccer

There's no doubt that soccer players are more physically active in a game than baseball players. Not to mention, there is more suspense, excitement, and energy in soccer.

However, it is true that soccer players fake injuries, but so do athletes of other sports. If anything, baseball is plagued with steroids and performance-enhancing drugs.

Natural talent? People have to keep training and practicing to get where they are professionally. If anything, baseball is more of a natural talent-based sport. Lol, baseball players don't use the weight room. They just inject themselves with steroids to get stronger. Soccer players are constantly in the weight room, believe it or not. You don't need a muscular built in order to be in the weight room. Your example proves nothing.

You can't use the quote of a coach who coaches a completely different sport. That's a horrible analogy. I don't see baseball players 'busting their asses off' in order to win.

Imo, nothing is natural talent, but baseball players do try hard to win. It just may not seem like it because the game is so hard to play/win.

Oh really? Then how come kids can go pro in soccer at 15? While in baseball anybody at the age of 18 and under cannot possibly compete at the major league level mentally or physically. You have to go through 2 or 3 stages of minor league levels for about 4 or 5 years to get prepared for the majors.

Just like all black people eat friend chicken and watermelon and drink purple drank.

Just like all Muslims are terrorist.

Just like all Jews are cheap.

Making it easy to tie prevents teams from being aggressive at the end of the game. While in baseball a tie does not exist, which comes the saying we play to win. What would the difference be if the quote was from a baseball coach?

Stop trying to compare apples to oranges, completely 2 different sports.

If you are going to compare soccer to something compare it to hockey.

As far as whats better, Baseball > Soccer.

Maybe they signed him, but i would like to see how much minutes he spent on the pitch the whole next 3 seasons... also MLS sucks balls. MLB is the best baseball league just as English Premier League is the best soccer league, tell me a 15 year old player of the EPL. Not shitty MLS

A professional soccer player is a professional soccer player no matter what league he is playing in.

You sir, are slightly retarded. It's a mixture of sprinting/jogging, but you're still moving at a quick pace almost the entire game. Soccer is natural talent, to a degree. If you honestly think Christiano Ronaldo is as good as he is, just NATURALLY, then you're MORE than slightly retarded. He puts hours and hours of training in, just like every other athlete.

And to say you play to TIE in soccer...are you kidding? What kind of naive statement in that? Why would you even bother playing a damn game if you're not trying to win? Obviously you don't watch any soccer.

And bringing in a football quote to a baseball/soccer discussion, really?

    You sir, are a moron.

You think I don't know this? You act as if I think you all of a sudden one day pick up a soccer ball at 16-18 and go pro. Christiano just played the game. Unlike most baseball players who put in the hard hours doing other things to just slightly improve their game, such as lifting weights, and doing cardio.

Prove me otherwise, you're just talking out of your ass. I watched the world cup and I saw what they did at end of games. Such as flopping and substituting to run time off the clock.

Last time I checked you win in soccer and baseball as well?

I can fight bullshit with bullshit.

Ya, IF they were leading. To state that the goal of soccer is to TIE is incredible rash. No goal in any sport is to tie. Running off the clock is just tactical move, they do it in other sports too, IE football. If it's a tie, then of course they won't waste the time.

Your statements are just absolutely uneducated..

If a kid practices hard and is fit enough to join a league professionally, that's good for him. You very rarely see kids play professionally on any team, almost never in European leagues. Even if a kid does manage to go pro, they usually are put on a U-17 League or something. Again, if a kid has trained hard enough and practiced and what not, they can overcome both the physical and mental stages of playing a sport.

Stages: So do soccer players. There's no specific draft in Soccer, meaning less players get in each year, where in baseball, hundreds are eligible to play.

Okay, from the 21st century, which and how many players have actually accomplished something well-known without the use of steroids? The end result of any sport doesn't come into play with which sport is more a sport/athletic. The score simply just states if a team has won, lost, or tied.

I'm a big fan of Baseball, football, and not so much on Soccer. Anyway i must say if you just think about it soccer players are the most active, football players are the most physical, and baseball is a lazy sport. I can say this because Ive played baseball in highschool. Baseball takes some skill, but not much. Taking in all the sports ive ever seen or played. Baseball by far is the most un-active one Ive played. There is NO comparison.
