Equipment For Waterfiends

So I currently have a slayer task for waterfiends and I was wondering what equipment I should buy so I can kill them as quickly as possible. I have 300M to spend so I don't think that would be a problem.

Also, where should I kill them? Ancient Caverns or Chaos Tunnels?

 

I prefer ancient caverns

Use Karil top/bottom, Bunyip with scrolls (they drop raw food), Helm of Neitz, Dragon Boots, Sarasword for crush attack style and i think you should be good

 

Ancient Caverns a multicombat area?

 

Ancient caverns is not multicombat. Agree with setup mentioned above, although you may also want to take an Enhanced Excalibur for some free healing. You should also take an anti dragonfire shield (can be dropped once you get past the dragons).

 

Im about 90% sure it aint multi combat but as soon as you walk in theres a green drag that will attack you so have a anti fire or mage pray and be ready

 

it's not multi, chaos tunnels is of course multi. Chaos tunnels is fastest if you know what you're doing.

Oh yeah, what should my inventory look like?

 

Useful to know your stats, seeing as you have the necessary money already for most gear.
Waterfiends can easily rape a person if they aren't properly setup according to their levels.

 

99 Strength, Defense, & Attack.
I can get anything really.

To be exact:
93 Slayer, 86 Prayer, 93 Summoning also.

And if it helps, 95 Magic & 77 Ranged (I know low..)

 

get a 2h weapon is best. depends if your killing for charms or exp?

Try the prayer method with prayer gear and super pots.
It's been a while since i played and I didn't have that much experience with Waterfiends. But I do know for a fact with you stats and money; prayer method is probably the fastest and easiest.

 

What exactly is the prayer method?

 

Wear high magic defence items with as much prayer bonus as possible, bunyip, inventory mainly filled with prayer potions with a couple of super sets and a few sharks. Crush weapon (GS/SS recommended) and pray ranged. I use this method whenever I go to waterfiends and can do 100 waterfiends at a time with 85 att, str and def. I don't seem to have a screenshot

 

Cannon them, and wear karils top, verac skirt/helm dfs and rcbow
