How many bots could I run?

Hey guys, new to the site, and new to botting in general so I don't really know what my limitations are, so I figured I'd ask the experts (You guys ).

Alright, my computer specs:

6GB RAM
Intel Core i5 @ 2.8GHz, Quad Core [2nd Gen]

I don't know what else would be related to botting, so yeah. I'm also using RSbot.

Depends on the client, for nexus around ~12, more for rsbuddy, but thats just an estimate.

 

Oh I did specify in the OP, but more specifically in the open. I use RSBot from powerbot.

 

I think you could run 14+ with rsbuddy but not that much with nexus, probably 6 nexus at max

 

With 4gb RAM I struggled with 2 rsbuddy bots, so expect three to run flawless but not much more than that if you want quality in your bots.

 

Seeings how I'm pretty new to this, I don't exactly know what all these different bots are. Just different programs to run the scripts? Because I am using RSBot, from www.powerbot.org, is that RSBuddy? Or Nexus? Or how do I know what I'm using?

 

I would advise switching to RSBuddy ( http://www.rsbuddy.com ).

With the CPU setting for each bot on the absolute minimum, and a seperate window for each, you could reasonably run 10-15 bots.

 

you would run out of ram quicker than cpu useage, with 450mb clients on the nexus client (rsbots.net) you could run 12 bot clients.

 

i have a 1 t hard-drive 4 gig ram and i easily run upto 15 rsbuddys. but if i even run 1 rsbot my will start to get a bit laggy. rsbot seems to be quite a bit slower then rsbuddy and plus you have the option to use less cpu
