Merchanting

i was wounder which was the best way to make money through the GE.

in this example i have 90k gp. i buy a blue skirt (t) for 88k (lowest price) and sell for 98k (max prices)

in this example i have once again 90k gp. i buy an item for 1gp such as empty pot (lowest price) and buy 90k of these pots. sell 90k empty pot for 3gp each (max price)

i have not tried the 2nd example so i do not know how fast it works or if it works at all. (scared to risk)

also i do not care about how you play and weather or not you think any of these ways is bad for the economy so please do not base your answer on that. i would simply just like to know the best way to make money out of the 2 examples i listed

 

Get more money and join a GOOD merchant clan.

Pots and skirts will get you nowhere.

 

Example 2 would not work.


I agree with Heeckeran, merchanting really isn't worth it till 1m+, and even then it's very minimal profit until you have 20m or so.

 

alright thanks i was just trying to see which worked better high items low gp or high gp and low amount of item

 

I'm sorry for using your thread, but how much profit can I get daily and weekly with 9m?

 

20? i say 50+ and having enough trust to risk it all at once, then you get a half decent profit.
