Well go to youtube and search stairway to heaven backwords with lyrics. you will find that backwards it is all about hell and satan. that'd make a pretty sweet report.

Awesome song. I have a shirt with the lyrics on the back.

It means whatever you want it to mean.

The song is probably about a lady who does drugs. Everytime she does drugs, she is buying a stairway to heaven.

 

I have a theory, it talks about jesus and his mother, the lady is jesus mom and in some times it mentions jesus like in the part where it says ''Rings of smokes through the trees''

It may talk about drugs 2, ''there are two paths you can go by''
Healthy path or Unhealthy path, this song tbh is kinda confusing lol

 

This song (as well as every other song out there) can be interpretted in many different ways. What it means, really depends on the listener. Everyone is going to feel differently about each song.

No one will ever really know what was meant by it when it was written, except Robert Plant and Jimmy Page.
