I'd have to say Thrash Metal as well. Bands such as Onkel Tom Angelripper, Assassin, Tankard, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Testament, Sadus, Whiplash, Exodus, Heathen, Hirax, Flotsam and Jetsam, Devaster and Possessed makes my life happy

I do also enjoy listening to alternative rock. Like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nickelback .

Thrash metal, death metal, grindcore, mathcore, and I like black metal too, but not a whole lot. Damn hard to find some decent quality black metal songs.
It's like they deliberately make their music low-quality.

They actually do (well, did). It wasn't supposed to be a popular genre, it was supposed to be underground. All that changed on Mayhem's later albums.

 

Yeah Mayhem's tight. I'd say Cradle Of Filth is good black metal, but then again...They seem pretty weak and fake for black metal.
But yeah, Burzum is a good example I guess.

 

I like a mixture of heavy and soft put together and they way they compliment each other.

Burzum, Satanic Warmaster and Mayhem are the best bands from this genre. Bands like Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir aren't really black metal, it's more symphonic black metal.
