    how long should this take?

2gb ram. I have it set for 518 ram usage.

    Storage I have 70gb free.

Completely clean install of windows also. No excess processes in background, programs slowing it down, etc.

Uh, why are you running windows 7? Try using XP or Vista, something that's known to work with vmware..

And if you have the intel version of leopard, why don't you just install that over your windows installation, if it's just a clean install?

as far as i have read the only compatibility issues windows 7 has had with programs in daemon tools and some anti-viruses.

I downloaded the actual virtual machine files. Not the .iso.

let me see if ubuntu works. hold on.

Because windows 7 pwns. Actually I just because fond of the layout, plus my machine can run it without flaws. Vista sucks, XP is outdated.

I still want windows. I just want to run Mac at the same time. Not dualboot or anything like that.

Vista and XP may not be what you're looking for, but if you want windows and leopard, this may be your only option.

Why don't you create a virtual windows xp machine and set up virtual leopard in that? xD

Also, maybe try increasing the amount of ram... requirement is 512mb, so maybe giving it 1gb might help. (1gb left for windows 7 works fine anyways, from what I have seen)

but it runs the initial loader, the darwin or whatever.

maybe an incorrect setting or something? Or really windows 7?

    how long should this take?

i mean like a vmware setting? or a initial install setting?

    btw

since it does emulate OS's on windows 7, we can assume it isn't windows 7 or vmware in general.

So it is an incorrect setting somewhere, either vmware or initial install setting.

    fuuuuuuuuuu hate troubleshooting.
