Ban rsbuddy gifting/make a sticky

Yesterday I read a thread on rsbuddy yesterday. In this thread Arbiter says gifting or resale of rsbuddy scripts is prohibited. So I think we should ban the sale of rsbuddy scripts just as we did for nexus. Further we should put a up a sticky so any threads that manage to stay up long enough to attract a costumers, so they will have of making a sale. Also with the fact that accounts CAN be reported stolen and recovered, considering you NEED the account login if you BUY an account with paid scripts on it.
Gifting scripts should be done as in, you gift the exact cash via PayPal for the user to BUY his/her own script.
I support.
Likelyhood of scamming, chargebacks and account recovering.

I don't see the point in this. We only disallow nexus auths because the buyer who bought them the auths will always have control of it.

 

your missing the main fact of it all....ARBITOR DISABLED GIFTING SERVICE.

Therefore, you couldn't gift something even if you tried.

edit - unless they are already purchased and ready to gift, (those ones he said should be good, just get the seller to show a receipt of them buying it.)

and if you really think people will give up their accounts so people can "buy them for the person" people arnt that stupid.

 

If you can scam with those scripts - then yes, we should disallow trading.

If the trade is legit and you can not have control of your script as for nexus, then we should allow to trade rsbuddy scripts.

I agree so I stay neutral for the moment scamming here is the main problem not arbiter rules (in my opinion) so if arbiter's rules are the only problem I don't totally support it but got to accept it anyway

 

No support, only reason why gifting was removed was the amount of people getting scammed due to the fact there is no market there and no established trusted people selling the scripts. The only way to scam through this type of trade is if you receive the payment first and not upgrade, Nexus scripts were different as you could regain control of the script even afterwards you have given the script. As long as you're buying scripts from people you can trust and to let them upgrade on your Rsbuddy account with the VIP/Script. A Middleman can also be used with this trade, the Middleman can hold the RSGP [As there is no sense in paying via PP] while the seller upgrades the buyer's account. After the buyer confirms the Middleman can give the Seller the RSGP. If the buyer lies about the account not being upgraded or funded with the script, the seller can simply show the proof of purchase of the account name he upgraded on. This type of trade is not much different from membership upgrades really and there is no sense to remove it.

You could use a middleman to go on RSBuddy and purchase the script directly.

 

No support, its Its a good (the script) for a currency, as long as these people arn't scamming there is no reason not to allow it, its the same as selling gold or membership

 

No support, it will be like banning selling rsgp because it is not allowed by Jagex. As long as it can be traded safely, unlike nexus auths, it should be allowed.

 

No support. This is unacceptable, the reason Nexus auths are banned is due to the fact that you can re-claim them and/or use them once you sell it off.

No Support, I agree with most of the above posters in saying that it is a safe trade because the script can't be disabled once you buy it, it would be like buying an auth for someone and giving them the code.
