Hey guys I've recently got back to playing Runescape again (OSRS) and just got a few questions. I've been trying to get members and I come across these things called "bonds" what are these exactly? I assume they give u membership but for how long? Also is buying accounts still risky because the owner could recover it? I haven't seen any instructions to set recovery question so was wondering. Also i saw that Party hats and crackers are extremely cheap now? What happened to them?

 

Bond do indeed give you membership, along with a few other things such as being able to change your name before the 30day limit, squeal of fortune chest keys etc. If you redeem them for member ship, 1 bond gives 14 days, if you use 2 at once or 3 at once it gives you a package/ a few days free, forgot how many.

Yes buying account's is still risky, I'd never ever buy one.

In 07 all rares aren't really that rare at all. All of them are very cheap, the most expensive is the blue phat for like 200k.

Why are rares so cheap now? I remember phats being over 1bil+. Is it because you can obtain them from drops or something? Also is dragon claws not in the game anymore? If so, will they come out anytime soon?

Phats prices are stable - but extremly low

As for bonds, yeah you can either use them on RuneCoins (...F..agex), use them to change your display name anytime or just to get yourself some P2P.

One bond supplies you with 14 days of membership and two bonds with 28 days (you don't actually save anything by doing this), but I think if you use up three bonds at once you get some "free" days on top.

Bonds can currently be bought in the grand exchange of runescape 3 for around 8m (+- 500k). It's planned that they're soon going to be released for oldschool runescape aswell, but we'll see ^_^

 

I think you are confusing 07 with rs3, they are two different things, think of them as two different games. In rs3, the phats are all 1b+ like normal, santas halloweens are all still a decent amount as well. Rs3 has dragon claws like always, but 07 doesn't, and I don't expect them to come out any time soon.

Is there still ways to buy membership like the old days with gamer cards or something which gave you membership for a month? If you can is it cheaper buying bonds or buying the gamer cards?

 

Either you can purchase the bond itself for $6~ or just buy game card off mypcgamesupply i believe that's the website for instant game cards google around find out the cheapest sites
