As the title says this next month I'll have about 400 bucks to waste so I figure why not waste it on something that will make me a little money.

So far this are the best choice I can find, I'd like to know if you can find a better one for under 400 bucks let me know where [ must include shipping etc.]

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    PROCESSOR
    AMD Athlon II X4 630 (2.8GHz / 4 x 512KB L2 Cache)

    MEMORY
    6GB DDR3 SDRAM
    Total memory slots: 4 DIMM

    HARD DRIVE
    1TB SATA Hard Drive

    GRAPHICS CARD
    Integrated nVidia GeForce 9100

    OPERATING SYSTEM
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Also if you can tell me how many bots this computer or the computer you mention can handle that would be great I usually use nexus, epicbot and rsbuddy if that matters.

you're better of building you're own

focus on the cpu, cpu cooler, ram, and buy a case that has room for a ton of fans. Don't spend much money on harddrives or graphics cards. Oh and install ubuntu it uses far less ram than windows 7 so you'll be able to run more bots

It would be my first time building one but I'm fairly confident that I can. the only problem is I would need a os.

I understand this, I'm basically just getting the new computer because my old one is about to kick the bucket and has been in a sorry state for quite some time. I just want to get the most out of what I can afford to make the most profit from it.

is ubuntu free? Also are all bots compatable with it? I don't feel like doing 50 steps just to get my bots to run like I need to do with linux\noppix etc.

I'd say save up some money, you might get 2-3 bots out of that.

A better example of what you want to save for:
    Intel® Core™ i7-2600 Processor
    (8M Cache, 3.40 GHz) - I overclock to 3.8 at times.

    16 GB DDR3 SDRAM

    And 1tb harddrive

I installed Ubuntu and can run around 26 bots with this and run around 92% CPU. This is a simple 870$ setup.

Not worth it buying a new PC for a bot-farm, and if you do you'll need more than $400 to spend.

You'll need a better processor, cooling system (preferably liquid), and more RAM.

Invest that 400$ bucks in dedicated / vps servers, so after you make some money you simply buy better PC.

how many cores is the processor and how many ghz it have?

also to the above who was talking about their 870$ setup yours seems to be a single core, mine is quad meaning I have 4 processors running at the 3.0

anyways I have already purchased a computer now I need to make a new thread to find out how many bots I can use.

oh also to the person who was willing to help me build one I am still interested in this but would like to spend more money on it. which I'll have as soon as I sell my car. So please contact me and we can do this I'll even pay you a little for your time.
