    Ban Evader: NAG/SanctumX

Follow up on last report: www.sythe.org/report-scammer-archive/1528769-sanctumx-maybe.html

I'm not entirely sure why he wasn't banned last time. I do not know what the pm conversation between firez and sanctum was about. I'm assuming he lied his way out by telling firez he bought them. While this may be a possibility, I want to break it down piece by piece.

    Possibilities of SanctumX evading:

    NAG's last login date-2/18/12
    Sanctum's join date-2/27/12

That leaves us a 9 days timeframe. That's a very good margin in my opinion. You might assume it's a near coincidence that both of them are selling 80% of the same names found on Nag's previous threads. You might assume one of his friends are selling it for him. A quite generous friend who goes through all the time and trouble of creating a fancy thread. Also one who puts their own sythe account at risk selling names that can be potentially recovered by the original owner at any given time. There is no such person but Nag himself. The day he was banned for sniping a name, there were numerous reports of him mass recovering back the names he sold, including his skiller/pure shop. None had any proof supplied because they didn't think a sythe user with 200 vouches would scam them.

Other factors that may possibly conceal Sanctum's evasion is a web proxy or vpn. Since an ip check was unsuccessful, it may lead to him completely ip evading. He may have moved houses or contacted his isp for a new one, we don't know. Also, a week after IDB posted the report, Sanctum edited out his OP and requested it 'closed for now'. That type of sketchy behaviour alone is enough to tell you that he is trying to hide something. If you skim through the 'matched' names on IDB's report, you can find that the names are quite mediocre. So why the lock request? It's a way to cover his tracks so nobody could 'dig' on his past. He knows too well that he is as guilty as any ban evader on this site. Yaroow and rwmrs2 once had name shops, and surely they can give an honest input that the names would not sell out in a single day. Who would want the name 'Constipated' on their main account?

    Sanctum's new thread: www.sythe.org/name-sales/1531911-5-...ely-massive-updated-rsn-shop-open-24-7-a.html

More newer names pop up like "Robinson" and "Cutlass". These names were never sold on Nag's old threads.

I'm not sure why a simple failed ip check would not make this guy the least suspicious.

In conclusion, Sanctumx should be treated like a ban evader. If he manned up and admitted to his mistakes on Nag in a pardon, he might have been forgiven.

Instead, this guy played a game of cat and mouse on us like we were fools. Get him off this site before he becomes a huge detriment.

    UPDATE:
    Original: www.sythe.org/characters-levels-150...op-huge-variety-grand-master-210-vouches.html
    Recovered: www.sythe.org/characters-levels-150-200/1482939-5-donator-30-vouches-lvl-119-look-inside.html

If you look closely at the the thread edit date of 1-08-2012, account #2 was sold a little over a year ago. The near identical stats on Sanctum's thread may prove it was recovered. The buyer had ample time to raise a couple hundred total levels in a year's time. Compare the two. Many of the skills were gradually raised, such as mining and summoning. The only exception are the combat skills, but even then, they are still achieveable in a year.

Merged threads, I'll PM FireZ to take a look at it as he supposedly dealt with this before.
