Report a Scammer MOD

Sorry if this was already suggested.

We have so many different types of mods on this forum. Most of them don't deal with the scammer reports because they don't know how or they don't have time. I think we should make mods that only work on that section and that section alone. It would be their job to take care of all the scammers.

If you really want to reduce scamming on sythe then take care of all the reports as soon as you can. If you wait 2 weeks to ban someone they scam in the meantime. After they get banned they already scammed 2-3 people and this could have been avoided if the scammer was banned already.

@ the staff: Don't say there is no time, if there is no time then make time by making more mods in general or mods for the report a scammer section. The blackmarket is the heart of sythe and I think we should take care of it the most.


If your not gonna support this idea don't post something like I don't support, give us an explanation on why this idea would be bad.

I'm not requesting more mods I'm requesting a new type of mod.

 

And to have this 'new type' of mod, you need 'more' mods you dumb fuck.

 

I've never had a problem with reprting a scammer. Take lots of screenshots, and your report will be answered within a day. You should always run a search on someone's name before you trade them.

I think this would be a good idea, except instead of just calling them report a scammer mod, should make it a little fun and maybe call them Sythe Police or something to do with a court system ^.^

I would think that "more mods" means don't ask sythe to make more globals and sectionals or admins. I don't think that means you can't ask for a new type of moderator. Even current staff would be allowed to join this new mod group, no need for more moderators.

 

There aren't any viable candidates that would be able to hold this position long. People would get bored and such.

 

In doing so, you're asking for regular users of Sythe to be given a position that is unfair to others. The Staff do not see it fair for a regular user to be taking care of scammer reports, which is why they are not able to post on them.

It's not so much that the Mods do not wish to take care of Scammer Reports, but that they are becoming useless. The Reports a Scammer Section more-so serves as a database for those to search for a user before doing a trade. Also, using a MiddleMan can greatly decrease the chance of being scammed instead of going first, which is why they are part of the Forum.

Can't suggest more mods, and specifically Report a Scammer mods.
