Bad timing to start farming?

Well, with the new "erasing membership from botters" theory, would it be a bad time to start a goldfarming business?

I'm about to start running 8 ASGP bots per day, which would require an initial investment for 1 month of around $150. Now, its a decent amount of money and I certainly don't want this to go to waste if my membership will be reset after a couple days of botting.

Also, when you bot on a VPS do you use unsigned or signed? (5-8 bots). And would 1 ASGP auth be sufficient for all 8 bots?

 

Im pretty sure you would need 8 Bots, Im not sure if the Multi bot glitch still works.

If you bot safe (10 - 16 Hrs on, 5 - 8 Hrs off you wont get baned easy).

 

I'll be botting near 20-22hrs/day.

Also, I feel like if you just open 8 unsigned clients you would only need 1 bot.

 

This is true that you only need one auth to run one bot in each client. The Auth-switching glitch is now patched.

As for your question, It's really an unpredictable time right now as there are so many bots in Sorc Garden and that sooner or later, JaGeX will have to do something about it. But JaGeX can also play it relaxed and just watch the money rake it... If I were you, I would smart small so if anything happens, you don't lose much.

You're suppose to buy an auth for each bot according to rsbots.net. But they won't know if you use 1 auth for multiple accounts at a time, so long as you keep them on the same IP. Run them all under signed.

You have to open a client for each bot. So you'd be running 8 clients. Just keep all the chars on different worlds, it's not against Jagex rules to play multiple accounts on the same IP so long as they're not in the same world or trading with eachother and such.

K. How long do you think ASGP will maintain 150k-250k/hr?

If I pay $73 for the VPS (1 month) + 8 account subscriptions ($60) + 1 Auth ($16) BTW, I'd like another input as to whether opening 8 clients and using the same auth on signed clients different world would work. Its around $140 to start. I did the math and I'd make around 1b over that time period @ 200k/hr EST 22 hrs/day.

Does any of this seem illogical? Like I said, $140 isn't super expensive but it definitely isn't something I want to blow on stuff thats not gonna work.

 

Like previous posters said, start small by running 2 bots 20-22 hours a day on your home comp. If you think you can manage running 6 more then go for it.

 

Ok thanks. Also, you guys said multilogging is fine as long as its on different worlds? I mean, you can do it? Whenever I try to log in (1st login not 2nd) and I have another account logged on it says too many connections.

 

Look. You can run the auths as many times as you want on your computer as long as it's on your IP Address(your own, not someone else's). You can run that auth you bought on one account in every client. Let's say you open up 8 different clients, you can run that 1 auth you used to bot on 8 of them. If you open up 2 tabs in 1 client, you will have 4 clients at the end but with 2 tabs on each client, if you bot with 2 tabs on 1 client, you will need 2 auths.

You can always multi-log as long as your bots are not all in the same world, keep them all at their own worlds (different each). This is allowed to be done, cannot get banned for it. The thing that you cannot do is, have more than 1 account botting in the same world, each need to be in their own worlds.
