Bad Staking luck?

Hello Friends,

Recently this past half year I have spent most of my time in the dueling arena using a maxed main to whip stake.

Bare with me as I know it all comes down to the stakes being 50/50, but my staking luck recently just doesn't seem to make any sense, LIKE ITS FUCKING TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!
Out of 32 total stakes, I have won 4 and lost 28....

I started with 1.7b bank. It only took 11 stakes to lose it all with me only winning 1 stakes in between (which was a 10m)
After being cleaned from that, I decided to spend my whole 2 weeks pay check ($650). I decided to stick with 50m stakes figuring that a win streak is waiting for me. I ended up losing 9 in a row, the went to win 3 win row, then back to losing 9 in a row again...

Dear lord I'm going to have a heart attack from all this stress as I just cant seem to get a break.

I have never been in a situation like this where 80% of the stakes I am getting destroyed, and the other rest of the stakes I hit amazing but they still hit better like my defense is just none existent for these stakes. My whip seems to be a noodle when i have them down to 7 hp and hit a 0, then they head shot me for a 22 or some shit (this has happened about 10 times out of the 32 stakes).

I have had 1 time, where over a week of luck and smart staking, and around 100 stakes, I was able to turn 30m into 9b. But then ended up losing it all in around 7-10 stakes XD

I just wanted to start a conversation about any past experiences that you all might have had from staking, all your good and bad luck...

I need therapy... XD

I seem to have the same rotten luck as you so I just keep away from DA now, always have the feeling a big win streak is just round the corner but unfortunately it never is

 

I wouldn't recommend investing your paychecks into 5050 staking...

 

I just cant ever seem to distance myself from the duel arena.
And I've probably spent around $3,500 on osrs gp alone the past few years... XD (talk about a gambling addiction).
But the loses just have never been this bad, like every stake I go into now, I know ill lose XD and it happens...

 

you could better go gamble your money in a casino man
do you even use the gp's if you win?

 

Stop now before it's too late. Spending a whole week's pay is just too much man, think about that.

 

Yeah I completely agree. It's just super hard though because I want to at least recover some of my loses and get to 2-3b and just cold turkey the staking addiction and actually enjoy the game

Don't worry i have the same problem, My record is 300/672 lol.. it's ridiculous but i am addicted so i can't really blame anyone but myself :/

 

Oh, wow. Quit DA man or if you really can't - Invest in some crypto/ stock instead - make some extra (effortless) bucks, specifically for DA So you still keep your pay.

Are you saying 300 wins and 672 loses? cuz if thats true then something is really wrong with your staking XD winning only 33% of your stakes, might as well just be giving me the cash every time you go staking

 

I have really looked into crypto currencies and want to invest as much as I can! But right now im at the point where I just cant stop staking until I reach my goal

 

Well im currently still at that 9 loss streak and counting... It seems like im never able to get 6+ win streaks going when im staking but the loss streak absolutely kill me.
The only reason I was able to turn 30m into 9b at one time was because I was able to avoid any 5+ loss streaks for a little bit and won the big stakes when it counted and used up my loses on small 1-10m stakes

 

Ye i cant win the important stakes, always loose the one that matters with 60hp+

 

That money isn’t yours anymore. Look at where you are financially and reevaluate. If you don’t stop, in a few years you’ll be cumulatively $50,000 down trying to win it back with your $500 paycheck.

Like 2 weeks ago I had a 90m bank and I staked hard and idk how but I had 830m. The odds staker kept PMing me like 'finish me off' and surely enough I was just doing 50m over and over and got cleaned. I bought like 100 dollars in gp and just chucked it to see if I could come back and I lost that instantly. I'm just trying to stay away from the arena for a bit lool

 

I'm with the majority of other posters here. It's a severe addiction which isn't healthy man. I've lost a fair bit and now I just won't stake or play rs for that matter. Good luck
