Hey guys i quit rs ages ago and wanted to start playing it again, just have a few questions.

So my account is locked because it has negative credit. I'm willing to pay to get it unlocked again just i forgot the password for my account. So was wondering if it is possible to recover my password even though its locked. Also if i do get it back how do i get my account unlocked?

You get your account unlocked by recovering it, but because its locked due to negitive credit you may need to request something on the forums.

As Broken stated you need to do.

Then afterwards you will have to clear up your negative charge, the only way they allow you to do this is to go to the store (Gamestop) and buy a UGC (ultimate game card) for $20. (assuming you only have a negative charge of one month's membership) Your account will be -195 JaGeX Coins, then after appling the UGC to your account, you will have lifted the -195 because the UGC has 200 coins on it. Then you will be able to play on your account again

Thanks for the reply guys. Is there a cheaper way to get my account unlocked instead of paying for the $20 card? Seems abit expensive.

 

No cheaper way. The way JaGeX see's it, is that you owe them that money for basically charging back on your credit card or whatever. They could charge you $50 if they wanted.

 

If your account is worth paying $20 then pay the $20, but if its not then make a new one or buy a cheap starter off sythe and train it
