Does access to log in email almost always guarantee RS recovery?

    Does access to log in email almost always guarantee RS recovery?

    When researching about methods that will almost always get your RS account back via recovery I noticed that knowing and using the IP address that the account was created/used on was one of the most important pieces of information to successfully recover a RS account. In theory, if you submit a recovery ticket and use the character log in email that was used when the account was created when Jagex states, "Pleas enter an email we can reach you at" during the recovery ticket submission.

    Does having access to the log in email greatly improve odds? Is it a "gold standard" like the creation IP?

    What do you think?

    From my experience no. You must be on the original IP from past experiences. With all correct information + original email, you will be denied. Other accounts could vary but from my own experience I wasn't able to without the original IP.

    I've had to recover accounts on behalf of customers a couple of times. The guy who supplied me with accounts was from Singapore, and all I used was the original password + creation date (talk to Hans in lumbridge) + ISP/country. Worked fine both circumstances.
