It has been 9 gp for 180 days straight, and right after the most recent update, it dropped down to 5 gp?? Whats the deal with that? I would have thought the price would rise, because you cant get them from stores anymore... Maybe a glitch?

Maybe a possible money making opportunity? If it is a glitch, and the price goes back to 9 gp, you can make nearly 200% profit on it, although, did fires ever sell? Good junk either way.

Maybe people dont wan't cause its gonna be harder to alch cause zanaris alching got nerfed? stupid idea but its a possibility

Its because jagex lowered/raised the g.e prices for some items, before the mid/lowest price of fire runes was 9gp, it couldn't go any lower, and people would always sell them for lowest/mid[same price] so many come into the game everyday etc.

As soon as the cap removed the people who wer waiting for fire runes to sell, they caused the prices to drop basically.
