Awesome how much respect you get when you open carry

Do you have a giant "SOVEREIGN CITIZEN" number plate on your car when you drive around also?

 

The only problem is most of the recently mass shootings the guns were bought within a month or less from the shooting lol. There’s a big problem here. If gun sales were completely shut off it would definitely be harder for these people to get guns or the quality of the gun they prefer.

I’m not too worried about criminals keeping their guns because they’re not out there to kill large amounts of people for no reason. If they kill anyone it’s typically drug or gang related. Those shootings won’t happen in my neighborhood.

Coming from a country where we don't have guns, this sounds so stupid and dangerous to me, i can think of a million things that could go wrong and why its better to not have goods.

I prefer concealed carry. I don't need respect or people to look at me differently - the point of carrying is protection; letting everyone know you have a firearm reduces it's effectiveness in my opinion.

If you want to make a fuss and feel like a bad-ass, sure, open carry. But it also gives a bad image to those of us that are quietly carrying every day, never bringing attention to the firearm on our persons. Then you get some moron that open carries into a Taco Bell and gets the cops called on them, the surrounding schools go on lock-down, and the people that aren't comfortable around guns immediately call for gun control. The current political climate is tumultuous, and we would do well to remain concealed and professional. Bringing attention to your firearm can never result in positive outcomes over the long-term.

I bought a gun on black friday. First every gun I've ever held and shot. I bought it for the safety at home. I have not considered getting an open carry. Because, honestly, I feel it's not even necessary. In my state I'm already allowed to have them in my car - without the permit.
