I'm making a maul pure

I'm making a g maul pure can someone give me advice.

Do I get prayer or not? why and how much cmb will it raise?

Are gmaul pures good? what stats are recommended and what quests?

whats the best possible gear for 1 def?

well for the prayer level, get no more than 31.

Maybe wear monk robes or if your blitz mauling then wear ghostly robes.

If your going to train you prayer, Train it by questing then raise by bones.
If your going to get prayer to 31, might as well get ice blitz as well. It works awesome with gmaul. Good combos and k0s.
An ideal mauler would have stats like this:
50 attack
85 strength
70 hitpoints
31 prayer
82 magic
80 range(that would be nice as well)

p.s. desert treasure would be hard without 44 prayer, but it's possible
