Need help with a computer

Well basically nearly a year ago I was on my computer, and it crashed, so I turned it off..
Going to turn it on, the computer powers up but the screen doesn't come on, and im sure it fits the screen size.

Any suggestions on what to do, I cannot try put in a windows disk because I cannot see the screen so I don't know what to click or anything.

Make sure the screen's cable is correctly connected, if so its to do with your GFX card. If you got GFX card, try using the on board card. If you're using on board one, get a card and test it.

 

im using a Graphics card and im not sure if theyre is an onboard one how do I get an onboard graphics card?

 

The screen is probably burned, happened to me after I went on a gaming binge on my old laptop lol, computer turned on but the screen showed black.

 

Nope screens perfect its something to do with the computer, any idea how to get a on board Graphics card? I think It could be that.

 

On Board card is the card that is built in the motherboard, you can't get a new one if it's broken.
If it's broken just get another card and connect it.

 

Virtual if I remember rightly tho I built this computer when I was 14 (5 years ago ) and I only had a graphics card inside I don't remember being any other slot to connect a screen to other than the one connected to the graphics card, do you think if I had another graphics card it would work?


-Because if it did it would be great the computer itself is super fast I can set myself up a Rs bot farm

 

Just replace the graphics card, I run my PC on a 42" TV so that's not the problem.
