This is my avatar I made for halloween.

I will show you the original avatar/profile pic.



It is an old vector I made like a month ago as my profile pic for my gaming facebook account. I decided to dress it up for halloween.

I made this version first.



It's 100% photoshop, Vexel/Digipainting type thing. I then tweaked it a litte bit. Fixed the shading, added small detailed.

here is what I have so far.



The only thing I really want to change on it is the bg maybe.

You are definitely talented because what you are doing does take skill. However, I would recommend going with more of the Halloween colors instead of the colors you have chosen. Make orange/purple the dominant colors. Add filters/gradient maps and some vibrance to the focal.

 

Will do...I ended up making it bluish yellow because that was normally the colors I saw jason in. Always running through dark woods or under harsh summercamp type lighting..

But in other words that does take skill and you have it!

 

The blood doesn't fit with it since you went completely raster. Rework and soften it some, and make your background more gloomy - you can go for a graveyard-forest fog without losing the blueish theme
