Require [IMG] tags to be used in Account Sales

I'd like to suggest a rule which would state that an account sale thread must use pictures with

 

Most people do use the

 

Sometimes, people are unclear on how to use these and are often not willing to work out how to embed their images. Other times, people don't know who to crop the images, and then we'd have a nice messy forum full of stretched pages.

 

We can make a sticky informing users how to crop and embed their images correctly. I don't see how it's so hard.

EDIT: This will also make our users more knowledgeable and nobody will have to explain to them how to crop/embed their images in other parts of this forum as well.

 

and what if the users dont want to clutter their thread they are selling 20 accounts on?

 

imo it wouldnt help, barely any newcomers read stickies anyways

 

Lol , they just lower their sales by putting links instead of tags... None less, it doesn't bother me.

 

If you take that attitude no stickies are necessary.
I support a sticky.

 

Mass account sellers should have the mind to organize their threads. If not, it's their problem, and they should consult a moderator to fix it. Besides, how many of those threads are there?

there SHOULD be a sticky showing how to do it but it shouldn't be required.
sometimes the pictures are too big to implement.

 

The sticky would show how to CROP an image and EMBED it. There would be no pictures that would stretch the page.

I Finished changing it all to urls, and apparently it was deleted while i was editing. >_<

 

I requested yours to be deleted as I found it unhelpful and quite frankly, stupid.

@Hahanerd: Those pictures would be reportable. Plus, people could still do that right now, so why would that be a new problem?

He's not saying you should remove the stickies, he's saying very few newcomers read the stickies, so adding a sticky on how to use the tag won't solve the problem of people not knowing how to use them.

Anyways, I don't support this idea at all. People should be able to format their sales thread however they see fit.
