Reported for Botting.

Mhm, another questing for you guys.

I think i got reported for botting, not really sure if the guy did or not. Basically came back and saw in the public someone was trying to speak to me, and then he asked me if i was using kMiner. Must have only been 5 minutes or so, since he said it when i realised.

During the time, before i stop paying attention to the bot, i had been active within the clan channel etc, so my question is; Does anyone think a temp ban is likely? The account is VERY clean. Am i right in saying Temp bans are still active?

 

No i really dont think so because if your using payed bots your quite safe.
i personally almost maxed out a 1 def pure and i think i got loads of reports simply try to bot "human". dont bot more than 8h a day, take breaks, leave the botting skill alone for a while and stick to some other skills...

you wont get banned for a single report! good luck though

Jagex probably gets 500,000 reports a day for macroing. One single report isn't going to do shit. Maybe they will glance at your hours logged in, but other than that, there's no way you'll be banned.

 

Ahh sweet, thanks. My time logged in, will be rather high right now, as i ran another one through the night. I did take breaks in between though.

 

Oh and am i right in saying, Temp bans still stand?

 

Getting reported is pretty much the only way to get caught botting unless you do it 24/7. I've had accounts repeating stupid random actions for long periods of time, wandering around, getting stuck in randoms for hours etc. without getting banned. Other accounts that I've noticed getting reported (seeing those "Hello? - You there? - LOL REPORTED FAG" messages in the chat a long time after someone has tried talking to you) have almost always gotten bans 1-3 weeks later. I wouldn't suggest botting on the account for a while, unless you feel like taking a risk.

Oh, and as far as I know you can still get temp bans on old accounts or accounts that have been member multiple times (valuable players for jagex...), as long as you don't do some (retarded) 1-99 hunter in 2 weeks style botting.

Mhm, alright i'm pretty sure 1 report isn't going to do much, i've had the account since 2001. It's my main and also the first time i've botted on it.

 

jagex wont even look at 1 report

Takes at least 2-4 weeks to process the report anyhow.
If it's not a main accnt and it has 0 blackmarks i'd reccomend you suicide it.

 

It is a main account. From what i've heard so far, a ban is unlikely. Seeing as before and after, i remained active chatting.

 

I don't think that the 5 mins will make a difference. As you've said its a clean account which I think should be fine. I've been botting my main for about 2 months now in SW - about 10 hours each night, sometimes I use Kminer on it too, and so far so good. Not to much to be worried about on your part

 

Sweet so basically 1 report does nothing?

 

-Never take breaks. That's plain retarded.
-Bot 24/7 at non-noticeable spots. If you bot 24 hours at 100k/hr at an extremely uncommon spot with no reports, you have an advantage over a populated spot that's 300k/hr for 8 hours, because you'll get reports.
-one report won't do anything. That's like throwing a snowball at a tank.
-Want to know your chances of getting banned? Every week you 24/7 smartly, roll four dice. If the numbers add up to 13, gf account.

 

I doubt they will even look twice on it. they will just think its a stupid person trying to fake ban someone, so you'll be alright.

 

People turn off public chat all the time.....Dont worry, yOUll be fine
