You should need to of been a member for x days on sythe to access the black market, this is easy to do and would take about 5 minutes to set up.

It would reduce the amount of people signing up just to scam
It would stop people who keep signing up with new accounts scamming as they would have to wait the day limit.
This can also be combined with a post count option as suggested by unb4nn3d.

Therefore you would need for example: Joined 30 days ago and a post count of 200

Discuss how many days you think it should be and the pros and cons of this idea, i would love some feedback :)

Will not work. People will make like 20 accounts one day, and get 200 posts on them all in about 2 weeks. Then once the month is up, they scam, get banned, scam again, get banned ect.

The way to reduce scamming is not to block out the scammers, it is to educate the people to avoid being scammed.

Hawt, but then, not all leechers are bad. Some people just want to sell an account. Not all people will wait 50 hours on a forums to sell something.

    How would you check that?
    Post-thing isn't a good idea.
The hours-thing, yea it's kinda good, although people would just leave it on while doing other stuff, or "over-nighting" with bots. It's still good, though, just not the post-thing.

You already get banned if you BAN EVADE.
Having 2 accounts is not "illegal" or against the rules, as a rule says that you are allowed to make a new user if you spelled your username wrong.

its not fair for some people out there, like me, who actually wants to be honest. Everyone starts somewhere, and i just want a membership pin >.>. Not fair for us because not every leecher/beginner are scammers.

    I totally. Disagree.

True i hardly use the blackmarket to sell something but what if i want to in the future and i get banned for scamming or something? And i make a new account im not waiting to get my post count to 200 or 50 hours thats just stupid. i rather go and sign up on another forum and sell my account their.

(OFFTOPIC but i had 500 posts on my other account Rks90 which i forgot passsword too when rollback happend or something it got cut to 200 and i got really mad).

So yeah I disagree i think people shud just learn not to be scammed. and it takes too long

    Disagreed,

Not all leechers are bad and people should read the thread on how to be prevented from scamming. I don't post/surf the forums for fun, and many people don't. We just want to buy/sell

I actually agree with this idea. Most leechers are out to scam. If you set it up so that you have to be active and have to have a certain amount of posts that will really help out.
This is because you will see the people who are on the site because they love runescape. All of the scammer will go to one thread and just start posting spam in order to raise their post count. All of the legit players will just be active on the site posting where and when they believe they need to.

Everyone uses the black market at their own risk. I disagree with this because people have full control of theirselves when they choose to use the black market. Whether you are a new or veteran member I think everyone has the equal amount of trust.

There has to be some of rule set in order to get access to the black Market. The problem like someone already stated would be that some people will make 20 accounts, get posts, wait a couple of months then go on a scamming spree. Then, you know what another problem is. If you put that rule up, the site will get less scammers, but also less users visiting. Some new users are actually legit. I mean, sometimes kids with 1 post go first and buy from me. It feels good to see that some people are good. And it's not fair that my vouch for them is not really valid. Seriously, we need to come up with something really Anti-Scam proof.

    - I say we put up being a Member for atleast 1 month. Must have 200 legit posts. Must have atleast 3 vouches from credible people. On top of that, must be a recognizable user from the community and admins. It might lose you guys a bit of users, but will gain you more respect and less scam.

If someone makes like 20 accounts on the same ip it will look strange.

Maybe mods to clear inactive (or spamming) ip's

Scammers will just make multiple accounts and let them sit for a while, and having a post count rule would simply cause more spam especially since a lot of people only come for the black market and aren't here to exchange chit chat. I don't support as I don't see anything benificial coming from it. Especially since just because you've been here for a month, or posted 200 posts, means nothing about how trust worthy you are.

Not everybody is bad there is a saying called, you cannot judge a book by its cover therefore meaning on this site you cannot judge someone by it's rank.
