Autoclicking in a VM- Good or bad idea?

I'm looking to do a bit of mage training with a randomized autoclicker after several friends have confirmed that they've done it up to 94+ mage without an issue. However, part of the issue with an autoclicker is that you can't actually use your mouse while the program is running.

To mitigate this problem, I figured I could just run a Virtualbox with Windows XP and run the OSRS client and the auto-clicker that way. That being said, would that trigger anything suspicious? I'd just be running the autoclicker a few hours a day, so I'm not particularly concerned about that, but I have no idea if using XP would trigger some sort of flag.

It's basically lighter version of windows and has been working like charm to me.

Just a warning, my friend used a randomized autoclicker in his poh and got 2 day botting ban. He made the autoclicker himself, so bans are still possible. He has never botted on his account before as well.
