Botting Question...

Ok so, I just decided to check out RSBot on one of my shit accounts that I don't care about. Seeing how its on my laptop (I usually play RS on the family desktop), I just want to know if I use the bot on my laptop and then go on my main account and play truthfully do I run the risk of getting banned?

That would suck, or what if they ban my skiller account and then I go on with my main, would they ban me just because I was on the same computer sharing the same IP with the account that was using the bot?

 

If you're just a small time botter, using one bot then no.

They only IP ban if you're running multiple bots at the same time.

 

There's no evidence that you will get IP banned running multiple bots. You would only receive an IP ban if it's a serious offense.

 

Thanks for the answers guys. So if I bot on my laptop and also play truthfully on my laptop on my main account (not at the same time) then I don't run the risk of my main being banned, but only my botted one?

You should also be carefull to not have interactions with the botting account too. (trading or giving items to the main)

 

as long as you dont go "omg jagex you banz my 0ther 4cc0nuntz bu7 n0t dis one!" youll be fine... I've had accounts banned using rsbot on the same computer i play legitly on... they only ban the account you autoed on, they may look at the other ones more closely though

Ive only ever been banned on the accounts i've botted on. You should be fine.

 

No such thing as a 100% IP ban. There's about 100 ways to get around an IP ban. Even if they did IP ban you, you'd have nothing at all to worry about. I'd sell you some software that would get you past an IP ban if you ever do. One bot is almost undetectable in all honesty. The way they catch you is how many users are coming from one adress. Small Gold companys have VPN's or just spoofed IP's.

 

I don't think JaGeX I.P bans unless you did something huge.

 

Almost impossible to get your main banned from botting a noob account, your fine.
