About transferring items

After 6 or 7 months away from Runescape, I come back to see that Halloween Masks are ridiculously cheap, so I buy one on my level 90 main. Are there any 100% safe ways to transfer it to my level 50 pure?

I saw the sticky in the Runescape Guides section, but that seems a little dangerous. Are there any other ways?
