    Ok, I was just wondering, How many of us hae actually gotten the Red Lights of Death?

    I personally have gotten them 3 times.

    Also, if you have recieved them, how long did it take your Xbox to get fixed and get back to you. The first time I sent it in, took 5 weeks. Second time was 2 weeks. I am currently on my 3rd time, and I sent it away a few days ago, so I will update when i get it back.

    You don't buy it. The Red Lights are covered under warranty.

    I've gotten in twice. The first time was on the original launch consoles so it took about 1 month to get it back. The second time it was where you buy the box and send it out, it took about 4-5 days to get it back. I received the new one with the Falcon chip set, so hopefully it's fixed.

    I do believe its called the 'Red Ring of Death' (RRoD) not the 'Right Lights of Death'.

    I've never gotten the lights, but I have something worse. My xbox 360 doesn't show the rings, but does not display any video. It pumps out sounds, but no video. Since it doesn't show any lights, it isn't repairable under the warranty. lolz :(

    I've gotten it once, but instead of giving it to them to repair it, my mom just traded it in for a new one. All Halo stuff gone. D:

    Lol, i had a core system for almost three years, never had any red lights on it ^^
    My gran recently bought me an Elite though, so i sold the core system. All data retained ^^
    I <3 Xbox 360! :p

    Did anyone else see that article about how Microsoft claimed to fix the red lights? Apparently the newer consoles won't get it anymore.

    I've gotten 3 different error codes from the red lights, all while trying to fix my console. I finally decided to have someone repair it.

    I have personally got them one time and RMA'd my 360 to Microsoft. Had it back in about 8 days.

    I've been at my friends house and we were just about to finish Halo 3... the power goes out in the neighborhood for a few seconds and next thing you know.. 3 red rings..

    i get them randomly. then i juss unplug my x box from the power outlet and they go away, one of these times i wont get to lucky tho >.>

    Well it could be from the power outlet. Personally I've gotten it 2 times and i sent it back and got it back about a week later. The only thing bad about it would probably be the mushy on button.
